A sacred lamp for daily intention.
A sankalp is a sacred intention — what do you pray for today?
In the Sanātana tradition, a dīpa is never merely decorative. The lamp (dīpaka) represents the jīvātmā — the individual soul — burning towards the paramātmā. Lighting a diya at dawn and dusk (sandhyā) is a daily saṃskāra in most Hindu households. During Kārttika (October–November), continuous dīpa-dāna is considered especially meritorious.
Form your intention, then light the diya below. The bell tone used is tuned to 432 Hz, traditionally associated with clarity and inner stillness.
