PujaKit collects only the information needed to run devotional tools, answer requests, process orders, arrange services, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data, use third-party ad trackers, or make private spiritual information public.
Scope
This policy applies to PujaKit websites, tools, forms, checkout, account areas, feedback flows, WhatsApp-supported order handoffs, and related customer support. Payment processors, courier partners, YouTube, Google, Stripe, Razorpay, and other third-party services may also apply their own privacy terms when you use those services through or alongsidePujaKit.
Information we collect
- Contact details such as name, email, phone number, city, and message content.
- Order and fulfilment details such as product selections, address, payment status, refund status, and delivery notes.
- Service request details such as preferred ritual, date, location, language, and preparation requirements.
- Location preferences such as approximate city/region from network signals, manually selected city, timezone, or browser-provided coordinates when you choose precise location.
- Account details such as login identifiers, saved preferences, claim status, and support history.
- Optional feedback for tools such as AntarPrakriti, including result metadata and user-submitted ratings.
- Technical data such as device, browser, page URL, consent state, timestamps, security logs, and error diagnostics.
Purpose and lawful use
We process personal information only for lawful purposes connected to the feature, order, service request, account, safety, support, or legal obligation involved. Where a feature asks for consent, the request should be specific, understandable, and limited to the data needed for that purpose.
Local device storage
Some practice tools can store language, counter progress, sadhana statistics, location choices, quiz state, and journal-like notes in your browser storage. Local-only data stays on your device unless a feature clearly asks you to sync, submit, or attach it to an account.
Location use
PujaKit uses location to make panchang, choghadiya, festival, temple, and other local devotional information more accurate. By default, we may use approximate city, region, country, timezone, latitude, or longitude signals provided by our hosting or CDN infrastructure from your network request. We do not store your IP address for this preference, and the location guess response is marked private and no-store.
If you select a city manually or choose precise browser location, that preference is saved in this browser so the site can keep using the same local context. Browser precise location is requested only after you choose the precise-location action, and you can deny it or replace it with a manually selected city.
How we use information
- To respond to contact, kit, booking, or support requests.
- To create, verify, fulfil, cancel, replace, or refund orders.
- To arrange pandit, e-puja, chadhava, or consultation requests when those services are available.
- To remember user choices, language, and accessibility preferences.
- To secure the site, prevent fraud, debug errors, and maintain records required for compliance.
- To improve content quality, tool reliability, and user experience using aggregate or de-identified signals where practical.
Consent and choice
Where consent is required, we will ask for it through a clear action. Optional feedback, marketing communication, account sync, review opt-in, and sensitive service details should remain optional. You may withdraw, review, or manage consent by contacting us, using any available unsubscribe or preference control, or refusing optional form fields. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed for an order, payment, tax, security, or dispute-resolution purpose.
What we avoid collecting
We avoid collecting caste, exact birth details, health diagnosis, trauma details, family secrets, or other sensitive personal details unless a specific feature clearly explains why the information is needed and asks for your informed consent. AntarPrakriti and similar self-reflection tools should not require caste, gotra, exact birth time, or health data.
Sharing and processors
We share information only when needed to deliver the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or protect users. Examples include payment gateways, shipping providers, email/SMS/WhatsApp support tools, hosting providers, analytics/error-monitoring vendors, verified pandit/service providers, and professional advisors. These parties should receive only the information needed for their role.
Personal data incidents
If we identify a personal-data incident that creates a meaningful risk to users, we will investigate, contain it, preserve relevant records, and notify affected users or regulators where required by applicable law.
Cookies and analytics
We may use first-party cookies or similar storage for session, language, consent, cart, security, and preference functionality. We may use Google Tag Manager as a container for approved measurement, customer-review, or support tags when configured. Optional analytics should load only after you choose to help us improve with simple site statistics. Any analytics system should be configured to avoid advertising resale, hidden profiling, private spiritual-practice profiling, and unnecessary personal identifiers.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, including order fulfilment, support, tax/accounting records, legal obligations, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Local browser data can usually be cleared from your browser settings.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, grievance support, nomination support where applicable, or account export where available by emailing namaste@pujakit.in. We aim to acknowledge privacy and grievance requests promptly and respond within a reasonable period. Some records may be retained when required for legal, tax, security, fulfilment, or dispute-resolution reasons.
Children
PujaKit is intended for general devotional and educational use. Children should use account, checkout, booking, feedback, and community features only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. We do not knowingly use children's personal data for targeted advertising or profiling that is likely to cause harm.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the size and nature of PujaKit. No online system is perfect, so users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive details in free-text fields.
International users
If you use PujaKit from outside India, your information may be processed in India or in other countries where our hosting, payment, support, or service providers operate. We expect processors to protect information consistently with their role and applicable legal obligations.
