In recent years, Bageshwar Dham has emerged as one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in Madhya Pradesh. The presiding deity is Lord Hanuman (Balaji). The temple is famous for the 'Divya Darbar' led by Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, who is believed to possess divine clairvoyance granted by Lord Hanuman to resolve devotees' problems.
Mythology
The site has been a place of worship for several generations of the local priestly family. It is believed that the blessings of Sanyasi Baba (a revered ancestor) and Lord Balaji have made this soil highly miraculous.
