Definition
A sacred geometric diagram (yantra) for meditation and worship, dedicated to Lalita Tripura Sundari (Mahavidya); Mahalakshmi. Geometry: 9 interlocking triangles around a central bindu (point) — 4 upward (Shiva) + 5 downward (Shakti) — surrounded by 8-petal lotus, 16-petal lotus, three concentric circles, and a square outer wall (bhupura) with four T-shaped gates. Associated mantra: Panchadashi (15-syllable Lalita mantra) and Shodashi (16-syllable). Purpose: Supreme yantra of Srividya tradition; meditation on the structure of the cosmos as Devi's body; brings prosperity, knowledge, liberation. Placement: Pooja room; east-facing wall; daily worship. Associated text: Soundarya Lahari, Lalita Sahasranama, Lalita Trishati. Yantras function as the body of the deity, used in pūjā, tantra, and dhyāna to focus divine energies.
