Eight verses praising the Divine Mother in all her forms. Recited for spiritual power and divine grace.
देवी अष्टकम्
When to recite: Navratri, Friday, Devi temples, daily
Devi Ashtakam is an eight-verse hymn praising the Divine Mother in her protective, compassionate, and cosmic forms. It is suitable for Navratri, Friday worship, Devi temple visits, and daily Shakti devotion.
The ashtakam format makes it a concise alternative or companion to longer Devi texts such as Durga Saptashati and Mahishasura Mardini Stotram.
The hymn bows to Devi as the source of strength, grace, refuge, and liberation. It asks the Mother to remove fear, protect the devotee, and awaken devotion.
