Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki is a joyful Krishna aarti sung especially in Vrindavan, Mathura, and Krishna temples during evening worship. Kunj Bihari refers to Krishna as the one who sports in the forest bowers of Vraja.

The aarti is rich in visual devotion: peacock crown, flute, yellow garments, Vaijayanti mala, cowherd beauty, and the sweetness of Krishna's presence. It is especially loved during Janmashtami and daily temple aarti.

Meaning

The hymn beholds Krishna's beautiful form and asks devotees to join in worship of Kunj Bihari. Its mood is darshan: seeing Krishna with love, remembering Vraja, and offering lamp, song, and heart to the beloved Lord.
